GDESS501A-WATER BOTTLE PROJECT ROUGHS

When researching the effects of the plastic water bottle, i discovered the affects it has on our environment and health. This helped the process of designing the Water Bottle Poster the NSW TAFE. My first idea was to have a aluminum bottle melting over a plastic bottle to give the public the idea of using a alternative to the plastic bottle. I created this design in Photoshop then finished it in illustrator. The other concept was to have the poster contain a lushes scenery picture with a stop sign conveying Reduce Plastic Bottles with a fact of the effect it has on our environment.

When getting the class to critique the posters, the melting bottle was preferred as it sent a clear message compared to the second option that was designed.
